Skylar is a talented and passionate personal chef, specializing in food and beverage management while working as a General Manager in the Hotel Food & Beverage Industry. With a strong educational background from the prestigious Florida International University (FIU), Skylar has established herself as a rising star in the world of hospitality. Born with a love for food, Skylar began their culinary journey at a young age, experimenting with flavors and techniques in her home kitchen with her Italian mother Vicki. Recognizing her talent and dedication, Skylar pursued a formal education in hospitality at FIU Chaplin school of hospitality, where she honed her skills and gained a solid foundation in culinary arts, nutrition, and food safety.
During her time at FIU, Skylar immersed herself in various culinary competitions and student organizations, constantly seeking opportunities to learn and grow. Her commitment and hard work earned them numerous accolades and recognition within the culinary & hospitality community.
After completing her education, Skylar embarked on a career in the hospitality industry, quickly establishing herself as a sought-after professional. She joined the ranks of renowned hotel chains such as Marriott and Hilton, where she served in key roles, including Director of operations for south Florida's largest food hall “Delray Beach Market”. Skylar's expertise in food and beverage management allowed her to create exceptional dining experiences, ensuring top-notch service and culinary excellence for hotel guests.
Skylar felt a deep desire to connect with clients on a more personal level, and thus, she decided to transition into the realm of personal chef services. Combining her extensive knowledge of various cuisines, innovative cooking techniques, and a genuine passion for creating unforgettable meals.
